It's a good bet Shigeru Miyamoto hadn't a glue as to what he was getting himself into when he was developing what we all now know as the Suer Mario Brothers. The range of influence of Mario can be seen and heard from in the most unlikely events much like in the video above. A legend was born back in the 80's and to this day remains to be insanely popular.

Nintendo World 2011 3DS "Whoa" moments

It's obvious in the world of Nintendo when "Shit just got real" for them. Anytime you hear or see of Nintendo World you know something big is on the way from them. This time around it's the impending launch of the Nintendo 3DS and the needed education for the masses who more than likely have a device with the letters "DS" on it already.

Nintendo 3DS first impressions

There's nothing like watching videos of people speaking a language you don't understand, yet at the same time uh's and ahh's tend to be universal and that's exactly what you see in the above video of various people checking out the 3DS for the first time at Nintendo World 2011. Will the unwashed masses do the same as in the above video?

There is a lot you can gleam at from Nintendo World 2011. Those of you who speak Japanese should feel at home, but for the rest of us the below concert of Nintendo music during the event comes across just fine.

When it comes to homebrew there's no mistaking the passion and drive it takes to put forth a ton of time and effort to take something you love and turn it into a bit of your own. Inspiration almost always comes from the things you hold dearly and it's more than likely that Super Mario Brothers of some form is ripe for the picking. The below video was released quite some time ago (8 days to be exact) in internet time, but it's awesomeness in legality or sheer fortitude should not be lost no matter when you see it. How or where to get this remake is another story all together.

The next title in the BIT.TRIP Series was just recently announced at PAX 2010 and so goes the countdown for it's release as it's much sooner than you might of thought. Coming to WiiWare on October 25th, the next in line, BIT.TRIP FATE, is just a week away as CommanderVideo is joined by friends from BIT.TRIP RUNNER to take on Mingrawn Timbletot.

As arguably the most unique Nintendo Wii peripheral to date, THQ's newest in it's uDraw GameTablet is near, but how near? According to THQ, how near is November 14th along side it's included software of uDraw™ Studio at the MSRP of $69.99. With the release of uDraw are two other titles Pictionary and Dood's Big Adventure with more to come later are at the MSRP of $29.99 each. Whether or not uDraw has an audience is still to be seen. There are things out there like Leap Frog already, but are those with a Wii ready to us their game console to not only draw, but play more advanced games as well?

As one of the Nintendo Wii's most anticipated titles this coming fall, Disney Epic Mickey looks to not only bring some hardcore fan's back to the Wii, but bring Mickey back into the spotlight of which he's seldom been seen over the last few years. Oswald maybe after Mickey, but who's title is on this game? The intro to this action platformer can be seen below that gives a nice primer on Wasteland origin and shows off its gorgeous (must not say for a Wii game stat) graphics albeit in a pre-rendered cut-scene. Enjoy!

Friend and on camera fiend Jenn Cutter of Open Alpha fame was able to get a demo of Disney's Epic Mickey at E3 2010. Watch as she is given a walk through of what was being shown on the show floor and be amazed at the enthusiasm she has for the title. It's pretty safe to say she is looking forward to Epic Mickey.
