Super Mario All-Stars: 25th Anniversary Edition coming to US

When it was announced that Japan would be getting a special 25th Anniversary Edition of the classic title SNES title, Super Mario Bros. All-Stars, released on the Wii, Wii owners in the US began loudly clamoring for Nintendo to get this release over to the west.

It looks like Nintendo heard the cries of the American Wii user-base, as they have announced that Super Mario Bros. All-Stars will be coming to the American shores starting December 12th for a limited time only. Not only that, but it will retail for the very reasonable $29.99. Much like the Metroid Prime Trilogy, once these are gone, they are gone for good.

If you're like us, you already have the four titles, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels, on your Wii through Virtual Console. To make this deal enticing to that population, Nintendo will also be including CD containing a Super Mario History Soundtrack, as well as a commemorative 32-page booklet that gives players a brief, yet colorful tour of the series' history.

Nintendo Wiis on Sale at Target This Week for $150

One of Target's weekly deals involved selling the Nintendo Wii system for $50 off. Before you go running off though, bear in mind that this is described as a legacy console - according to Target, that means the bundle comes without Wii Motion Plus. If that's not enough to stop you from purchasing a Wii at a pretty darn low price, then head over to Target and pick it up!  Offer ends at the end of this week.

Video: Disney Epic Mickey's intro

As one of the Nintendo Wii's most anticipated titles this coming fall, Disney Epic Mickey looks to not only bring some hardcore fan's back to the Wii, but bring Mickey back into the spotlight of which he's seldom been seen over the last few years. Oswald maybe after Mickey, but who's title is on this game? The intro to this action platformer can be seen below that gives a nice primer on Wasteland origin and shows off its gorgeous (must not say for a Wii game stat) graphics albeit in a pre-rendered cut-scene. Enjoy!

E3 2010: Open Alpha gets a look at Epic Mickey

Friend and on camera fiend Jenn Cutter of Open Alpha fame was able to get a demo of Disney's Epic Mickey at E3 2010. Watch as she is given a walk through of what was being shown on the show floor and be amazed at the enthusiasm she has for the title. It's pretty safe to say she is looking forward to Epic Mickey.
