The king of overhype and innovation from across the pond always has something to say. After the amazing claims for the original Fable, Molyneux is doing some fine sucking up to his favorite publisher. Although his dubious quote is rather crude toward the mushroom kingdom.
"All I can say is that Microsoft is an incredibly smart company and I never fail to be impressed by just how clever they are. Don't forget this is the company which pioneered LIVE which I believe will ultimately be far more impactful on video games in the long term than something like the Wii controller."
While the quote is a little strong he does seem to a have a slight point, wrapped around the outdated Wii bashing. Xbox Live did define online gaming on a console. Yet the PC space has had this great feature for years. Considering the way the Wii has driven casual gamers to get into gaming, this could be a little outrageous. I personally think that the motion control in the Wii is currently affecting the design of the future xbox, although which feature is the most important in a gaming console? Molyneux has given his 2 cents what's yours?
